Canadian astronaut misses family after 101 days on space station

Bob Thirsk hasn’t had a shower in more than three months as he circles the Earth aboard the International Space Station.

And while he misses that earthly luxury, the record-setting Canadian astronaut says it is his family that he misses most. "I think I have the greatest job in the world, but you don’t get something for nothing," Thirsk said Friday during Day 101 of his six-month space voyage. "Unfortunately there’s a price to pay and it’s the family that has paid."
