First morning at the UN-IAF workshop

I have spent the morning at the Nineteenth UN/IAF Workshop entitled “Integrated Space Technologies and Space-based Information for Analysis and Prediction of Climate Change”. It is being held at the headquarters of KARI in Daejeon.

The building is surrounded by trees which, in their autumn hue, are rather fetching :)

I have falling into the role of rapporteur here at the UN-IAF and so the day so far has been one of my RSI days - lots of typing and misspellings which make the world go arond.aroundo, around.

Some of the talks thus far have been very interesting with a few very frightening ones - I learned that my new home may be underwater quite soon with the proposed rise in sea levels. Since 2000 sea levels have been rising three times the rate than between 1960 and 2000. Oh dear!
