The Indian Government has taken important steps to market the capacity available from the Indian Remote Sensing Satellite series in the global markets after meeting the national needs. In order to effectively market the data and its software, a system of International Ground Stations and resellers are established in about 20 countries through Antrix Corporation Ltd. which is the commercial arm of the Indian Space Research Organisation.
